We’re shining up our red noses and getting ready for tomorrow’s inaugural Red Nose Day!
Perhaps you’ve seen commercials about it from Walgreens, or previews for tomorrow night’s, three-hour NBC special from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.. For details about guests and some of the fun sketches scheduled visit here.
What is Red Nose Day? It’s all about raising funds and awareness for children and young people living in poverty. To get more specifics, check out this blurb from the organization:
“All of the grant money distributed by the Red Nose Day Fund will be given to a variety of nonprofit organizations that transform children’s lives. The great news is that half the money distributed will be spent right here in the US at projects close to home. The other half will be spent in some of the poorest communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. All of the grant money will be used in projects to keep children and young people safe, educated or healthy. Learn more about how we help here!”
And we love this proclamation from the website:
We believe in a just world free from poverty and use the power of entertainment to create positive change in the world.
And now, we leave you with a peek at the hilarity that awaits on NBC’s Red Nose Day special.
