Hey everyone! If you’re a resident in Los Angeles I am sure you have been hearing the buzz about something floating in Pershing Square. What is it you may ask? It’s called Liquid Shard and it was designed and installed by artist Patrick Shearn.
The art installation was created out of holographic mylar and monofilament or simply silver streamers –and stretches 15,000 sq ft. across the park appearing to move as if the wind was blowing. The installation is a result of the city’s desire to incorporate more public art displays throughout Los Angeles.
