Are you opera-curious? Well, the LA Opera wants to introduce you to the medium and all the passion behind it.
Tomorrow night, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the LA Opera is hosting a free, Newcomer Open House at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Attendees get a peek behind-the-scenes at the elements that go into a performance, from costumes and makeup to props and special effects.
Included, of course, is a tour of where all the magic happens — the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Adding to the festivities will be a photo booth, along with food and beverages for purchase.
The night concludes with a recital by LA Opera artists, who perform highlights from the LA Opera’s 30th Anniversary Season.
Fall in love while you’re there? Special newcomer packages will be available at the box office (see details below).
